Responsibilities:

(a)    Work side by side with development and business partners to determine optimal test coverage and ensure high quality and defect free software is delivered.

(b)    Mainly responsible for preparing test cases, test execution and defect management for a variety of projects across multiple lines of business and technology platforms.

(c)    Expect to learn the business and technical components of an application, create testing artifacts and execute all required testing activities in accordance with existing testing standards.

(d)    Assists team in conducting end-to-end testing on applications and technology, to ensure that business, technical, functional requirements are being met throughout the SDLC.

(e)    Prepares and executes test cases based upon test plans in an effort to identify defects prior to production.

(f)     Assist the Test Lead & Test Manager in performing test deliverables if required.

Qualifications and Experiences:

(a)    Degree in Computer Science (or related field)  with min. total of 2 years’ experience in software testing industry.

(b)    Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is mandatory to deal with counterparts in China. Good command of spoken and written English and Malay.

(c)    Understanding of basic software testing concepts and hands on work in test design and test execution in both Manual & Automation testing.

(d)    Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) is an added advantage.
(e)    Familiar with various testing tools/methodology. E.g. JIRA, Systems Integration Testing (SIT), Testing Process and Strategy.
(f)    Soft skills on business read/writing, presentation and communication in English
(g)    Knowledge in Mobile and Web application is an added advantage.
